Here we are in late Feb and Winter still has us in a firm dreary and cold grip. My temperature this morning at 7-50 am is 2 C. I am confident that my bees are clustered: poly hives regardless. LOL
What can we do to help? Frankly not a lot, provided your bees are vermin proofed, have access to water when they can fly and have stores/ fondant or candy then the only thing to do is to patiently wait for the temperatures to rise.
Please remember that bees are experts at this situation, they just wait as we must too. There is NO point at all in trying to hurry things at this point in this weather. Patience is the key.
