Things have been a bit busy so here is a brief update.
From 14 over wintered units comprising 12 colonies and 2 nucs I now have 11 colonies and 5 mini nucs, and 24 full frame nucs. Mating is going on, and more cells are being produced.
There are some 14 supers on many of which are over half to 2/3ds full so the crop is coming in nicely with the prospect I feel of some 200 lbs or more.
All in all it’s a case of so far and so good and hopefully the Bee Inspector will give me a clean bill of health tomorrow.
